Valentine's Day

Alright, so this has nothing to do with knitting, but it does have to do with both the title, (it's not just February 14th, ya know?), and with my "need" to make something with my 25 year old hands for my boyfriend. So alright, his impatience isn't really quite as bad as mine, (I let him see the present, without pictures a few days ago), but to see his eyes light up and that smile come across his mouth, well, you get the idea. Wouldn't you smile if you saw this object d'art?

So I made most of this out of scrap paper by Rusty Pickle. They are probably the top product company on my list, in the scrapbooking world. If you'd like to see the rest you can see it at My Two Peas Valentine Album.

As for the Knitting Olympics progress, I am on my 5th day of knitting away and I have approximately 24" of my back completed. I have to knit 2" more, then another 6 rows before it will be finished. I am definitely running through the skeins quite quickly, so we will have to do a Michael's drive by and hope for the best!
