A Lovely Weekend

A lovely weekend indeed.

It started off with homemade carrot cake cupcakes for the SnB at the LYS last night. Carrot cake, with carrots. Get it?

Jem decorated a few with some brown and green Funny Faces:

Bandit had a nice afternoon exercising.

And telling us what he thinks of us:

Jem and Scout played outside too:

Jem and I painted some Christmas decorations, (I'll get a pic of that tomorrow). Bandit got a bath in some yummy Oatmeal Shampoo. I stopped by Beverly's and picked up another package of straight pins so I can work on Scout's baby blanket tonight. Dinner consisted of: Crispy Chicken, homemade Mashed Potatoes, and Cornbread Stuffing.

I only knit about 5 rows of my Secret of the Stole. I'm waaaay behind. I only knit about 2 rows of the Cobblestone Pullover. Looks like I need some extra time. I kind of want to start another pair of socks, but I have to finish the other sock for the Hogwarts Sock Swap. Too many things to do and not enough time = story of my life.

Either way, I had a lovely weekend indeed.

Bandit is adorable! Your kids are beautiful. Such a handsome smile your son has. The sweets look divine and make me want to get to my cheat day quick. I'm glad that you had a great weekend!

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

So many things to knit, so little time to do it in. I agree. Great that you got some rows in.

Knit on!

I'm right there with you - so many things I want to knit but not enough time. But it's so worth missing knitting time for that time with your kids!

Bandit is very cute and very photogenic.

Ah-ha! Based on the meter thingy on your sidebar, I'm ahead of you in Hogwarts 2 sock knitting - I've finished the first sock (and it should fit, since a friend with similar foot size said it fit her perfectly - don't worry, I'll wash it before I send it) and I'm almost finished with the cuff of the second sock!
